Turmeric 100 gms

Turmeric is a spice widely used throughout Asia and a main ingredient in curries. Due to its yellow color, it’s sometimes referred to as Indian saffron. What’s more, its extensive use in traditional medicine has raised significant interest in its health benefits. Curcumin is the key active ingredient in turmeric. Turmeric and especially its most active compound curcumin have many scientifically-proven health benefits, such as the potential to prevent heart disease, Alzheimer's and cancer. It's a potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant and may also help improve symptoms of depression and arthritis. We hand harvest our turmeric and is then boiled, dried and ground as prescribed by the Indian Agricultural Research Institute. Each batch of our Turmeric harvest is tested for the Curcumin Content.
