Did you know that each year 85 million tonnes of paper waste generated globally. India alone produces 3 million tonnes of paper waste of which more than 25% is newspaper waste. But have you ever wondered what happen after that. No doubt since its paper it gets decomposed and again another batch of papers are produced from new trees for the next year. And this is not going to stop until we all take a stand on it. We took upon us the responsibility to use the end product of a cycle as our raw materials. PampEarth is committed to change the flow of materials from source to disposal. PampEarth’s Newspaper pencils are made from 100% recycled newspaper that offer a smooth writing surface and is more durable and long lasting than a normal wooden pencil. The newspapers we use are either collected through clean-ups or from local waste centres or donated so no tree is cut in the process instead its upcycled and provide aid for waste management. Climate change and waste management is a very big issue and we are not saying we can change it in the coming year but we can definitely slow it down within the next decade and solve it within a century and for that we need to start taking steps from today. Maybe then one day our atmosphere will have clean air to breathe, our oceans will have clear water to drink and our lands will grow food without fertilizers.
