As angry as the hot plains that give it life, the GI-tagged S17 Teja chilli is the pride of Guntur and Prakasam. Sorted by hand, this flaming red chilli is India’s hottest variety (75,000 to 1,10,000 SHU). Before grinding it to powder, the chillies are laid out and sun dried for ten to fifteen days.
