Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Vedic Needs Eucalyptus Essential Oil is extracted by the steam distillation of fresh or partially dried eucalyptus leaves and young twigs. Essential oils can just about replace anything in your household or beauty routine and even your first-aid kit. Uses: Aromatherapy, Migrane, cold. Places to use –

Massage

Combine 5-7 drops of eucalyptus oil to 1-2 teaspoons of carrier oil, such as jojoba, olive, or moringa oil (known to have strong anti-inflammatory properties), and massage into the muscles.

Diffuser

When flu season is around the corner, prepare yourself by diffusing a few drops of eucalyptus oil in your diffuser and letting the healing vapors waft through the entire house benefiting everyone. The most common way is to add 3 to 5 drops of eucalyptus oil to your diffuser and breathe in the medicinal vapors for 20 to 30 minutes.

Even in steam inhalation Add 5 drops of eucalyptus oil to a bowl of hot water. Place a towel over your head and breathe in the steam. The eucalyptus-infused steam helps to dilate blood vessels in the airways, loosen mucus and relax spasms in the lungs.

Hair Care

Moisturize your hair with a few drops of eucalyptus oil blended with a carrier oil like coconut oil. The active ingredients in the eucalyptus oil help to stimulate hair follicles by stimulating blood vessels to constrict. This in turn gets more blood flow to the follicles and encourages healthy hair development.

Skincare
